Mindzmatter set to host Film Festival
Britain's first Mental Health Film Festival is being put together by mental health media and training specialists, Mindzmatter - with the help of Redcore Web.
Mindzmatter is a fantastic resource for mental health professionals and service users - with video and audio production, events management and more on offer. They have some prestigious, high-profile clients, and have even had their work shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
Redcore Web are building a Film Festival website and taking care of all the graphic design work.

Greenhouse Music makes way for Studio 47
The finest facility for musicians in Sunderland is set for massive improvements.
The move sees the end of Greenhouse Music, which will close down and be replaced by Studio 47. The new logo was designed by a competition winner, who won himself some free studio time. Redcore Web designed the stationery and the website.

Redcore Web 'Showers' client in success
Shower Solutions Ltd came to us in need of a complete brand make-over.
After becoming a limited company, they changed their name from GPH Services and struggled by on home-made stationery.
The quality of their work has meant that they've been able to secure contracts with local authorities and care homes across the north east, but the amateurish look of their promotional material meant that they struggled to gain new customers.
Redcore Web designed a new logo, website, business stationery, Yellow Pages adverts and their new fleet of vans.
Co-owner Paul Head said "In particular, the Yellow Pages ad and the website have worked extremely well together. The advert seems to have directed a lot of people to the website, and they've obviously liked what they've seen. As a result we've already had an influx of jobs worth eight-times what we invested in the work carried out by Redcore Web. We're delighted."

MH Printshop hits the web
Sunderland printing company MH Printshop had been in business for over 14 years before they decided to take the leap and have a website built for them.
They'd paid for a website to be designed, and at the time they also wanted a content management system. The design of the site was, well... ugly. Janet (co-owner of MH Printshop) also found that she didn't have time to update the site with her own content, so it was left to rot for almost a year.
In steps Redcore Web. We designed and built an image-led Flash website, with galleries gallore. Flash websites are notoriously difficult when it comes to search engine optimisation - but we managed to get this one to rank on the first page of Google.

Martin Walker created Martin Walker PR after spending years working in PR for Sunderland AFC and Middlesbrough FC.
He's worked alongside national press and television companies. With services ranging from copywriting and issuing press releases, to photography and graphic design, if you have a message to get out there, Martin is your man!

Designer menswear company chooses Redcore Web
We're delighted to have been tasked with building a large online store for new designer menswear company, Threads Online.
Selling brands such as Ray Ban, Hugo Boss, Fred Perry, Ed Hardy, Stone Island, Lacoste and Ralph Lauren - as well as Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green range - Threads wanted an up-market, sleek look.

Cleadon Hills Fairtrade store set for April launch
A Sunderland-based Fairtrade soft furnishings firm has asked Redcore Web to build an online store and design their printwork.
Cleadon Hills was established in 2008 by Philip White, who now feels the company is ready to move up a gear.
The new online store is in the workflow and is scheduled to go live
by the end of April 2010.

After massive investment, owner of Greenhouse Music, Kellie Woods decided it was time to close the non-profit organisation down - and open Studio 47 instead.
After previously working with Kellie on Greenhouse Music, Redcore Web is delighted to be a part of an exciting new era for music in Sunderland.
The new logo was designed by a competition winner, who won himself some free studio time. Redcore Web designed the stationery and the website, which launched on 1st February.

After seeing that Martin Walker PR had already used an image of a large eye on their business card design, we decided to incorporate that into the design of their website.
Offering a wide array of services, he needed a simplistic way for clients to see what he does - without it being too 'wordy'. We introduced this accordian. Hovering over each category will make the relevant text slide into view - so that only one body of text is displayed at any one time.
He needed to display testimonals in a way that the high-profile companies he's worked with will be instantly recognisable. When a visitor to the site hovers their mouse over each logo, it spins around and the text / textimonial is revealed on the other side.
A keen and talented photographer, Martin wanted to showcase his talents in this area. We built him a Flash image gallery.
Martin wanted to showcase the work he has done for Premier League and Championship football clubs, as well as national press.
He asked Redcore Web to design him a site that's slick and minimalistic - and that's exactly what we did.

We've designed a new website which will launch by the end of April. Here's a sneak preview.
The company logo was old and looked like a mdified clipart image! We updated by adding on-trend colours and floral swirls.
We're also in the process of designing ads and leaflets using strong imagery.
Cleadon Hills Soft Furnishings are a Sunderland-based company that sells fairly traded curtains, rugs, cushions and more.
They came to us in need of a new logo and website after a number of bad experiences with other web design companies.
We were happy to help, and this is what we came up with.
We designed a new website and stationery pack.
Mindzmatter asked us to design an invitation to a Mental Health Film Festival at the Customs House.
Mindzmatter provides services such as media production, training, events management and more. A lot of their work is for mental health servcies, and clients include several NHS Trusts in the UK and Scotland, Samaritans and Mind.
They were in need of a brand makeover - and we were happy to help. We changed their logo, gave them new stationery pack designs, and designed a new website - complete with a media centre (video and audio) and an online store. We also update their website for them, so they never need worry about it.
Redcore Web does further graphic design work for the Events Management side of the business.
We designed a new logo - they'd previously just used their company name in an extremely dated font.
Redcore Web designed and built a new website for Shower Solutions Ltd.
We designed a full stationery pack, based on the design of the website. We also arranged printing and delivery at a discounted rate.
To keep the branding consistant, we also designed Shower Solutions' fleet of vans.
This is how their business cards looked prior to Redcore Web stepping in. They still had the old company name, the logo was too close ti the edge, and it was generally uninspiring.
This is how we jazzed it up. We added a flash of colour, and a uv spot (glossy effect) on the logo and employee name.
We kept the navigation as easy to follow as possible - acknowledging the fact that the clients target audience may not be 100% cmfortable with using the internet.
Because they specialise in easy-access bathing solutions a lot of their customers are elderly. Bearing this in mind, we acknowledged that their target audience may not be 100% comfortable with using the internet. So we designed a series of print ads, as well as this double-sided tri-fold leaflet.
The website reflects the image the client wanted to portray, and is very easy to navigate.
A series of image galleries were added to the site to show visitors the quality of the work available.
A sliding gallery of all the available types / colours of safety flooring available.
Google maps is integrated into the Contact page so that customers can find the Shower Solutions premises.

MH Printshop website
Family-run and long-established, MH Printshop has a fantastic reputation for offering a fast, friendly and professional service.
After problems with their previous website, they came to Redcore Web looking for something a little bit different.
We built them a flash site with lots of mini-galleries to showcase their work. We also take care of their search engine optimisation - getting them on the first page of Google for their chosen key (search) words.
